Doctor Carr is a Board Certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. He received his dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 2008. He received his medical degree and specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery from UCSF as well. Doctor Carr was an associate professor at UCSF and taught facial trauma reconstruction at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital for several years.
At San Benito Oral Surgery, the local community has access to University-level care without having to leave town. Special interests of Dr. Carr’s include advanced bone grafting and dental implant surgery, sedation and general anesthesia, wisdom tooth removal, sleep apnea surgery and orthognathic surgery (jaw reconstruction).
Doctor Carr is very excited to be a part of the Hollister community. He lives in Carmel Valley with his lovely wife and two amazing daughters, Sydney and Elise. They keep him very busy at home and make everything worth the effort. When he does get time to pursue creative interests he can be found practicing photography.
Doctor McBride received his dental degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He then pursued a one year General Practice Residency (UCSF) in Hospital Dentistry.
Following this he completed a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and received his certificate from UCSF in 1987. Doctor McBride was a volunteer assistant clinical professor in the Department of Oral Surgery at UCSF for many years. He enjoys office based oral surgery and focuses on wisdom teeth and dental implants. He has been very active in organized dentistry with many years of participation in the Monterey Bay Dental Society, including acting as President and a board member.
In his spare time Dr. McBride can be found chasing golf balls on the course or fishing for trout in the Sierras.
